Starting the fall of 2009, I am taking an appointment as Assistant Professor at ESMT European School of Management and Technology, in Berlin.
My specialization is the psychology of decision making and judgment. Although my interests are widespread, I have two primary lines of research:
- self-control: how do we regulate our behavior when long-term goals conflict with short-term temptation?
- hedonic judgment: how do we form judgments about our own happiness and well-being, and what are the consequences?
